Scompler does not have an interface to Zimpel. However, the data can be integrated into Scompler via widgets and dashboards.
The database with 1.2 million contacts worldwide is provided by partner Agility PR Solutions. Customers can also commission free research projects on niche topics or specific regions.
On the one hand, journalists can subscribe to topics on the story page. Secondly, they can follow specific companies. Thirdly, PR professionals can search our database and write to journalists with topics that are relevant to them.
When communicating with journalists, it is sufficient to rely on legitimate interest as the legal basis for sending press releases. The prerequisite is that you find out in advance whether the persons are concerned with the topic, which you can do with the help of the database, among other things. It is important that recipients can easily unsubscribe from emails at any time.
We do not have any concrete evaluations, but the Mynewsdesk domain is a trustworthy source. Much more important for acceptance, however, is the report itself, how relevant the topic is and how it has been prepared.Â
Companies can set up their own sender address.
Zimpel focuses primarily on journalist data from the DACH region, which is only part of our solution. Cision is more comparable to Mynewsdesk and offers a variety of software solutions that are not combined in one tool. What we also offer: An intuitive AI-supported solution with a digital newsroom (content hub).

Webinar on February 27, 2024
In the dynamic world of media communications, where the focus has long gone beyond traditional press releases and journalist relations, one key question takes center stage: How can media relations help add value to your business and drive strategic issues forward? The answer lies in the careful selection of the right technologies.
In the joint webinar with Landau Media and Mynewsdesk, you will learn how our combination of tools can seamlessly map the entire communication cycle - from strategic planning to content production and distribution through to in-depth analysis. Our experts Kristina Pilkinton(Mynewsdesk), Oliver Plauschinat(Landau Media) and Michael Schmitz (Scompler) talk about the trends and future of media relations in this free webinar.
A topic-centered approach to communication and media work enables strong storytelling and, with the help of a consistent database, the insights that illustrate the contribution of your communication to corporate value.
The integration of specialized tools optimizes the entire media relations cycle. We highlight the advantages of a best-of-breed approach, especially for corporate communications and media relations.
Each platform provides valuable data and insights. But the true power unfolds when all analyses converge in a central system, the topic. This "single point of truth" optimizes your media work by ensuring that all relevant information is centralized and presented visually.
